This image was originally going to be on my front cover.
However, it did not conform to the genre and looked out of place ,therefore, I
decided to take it out and add subtitles instead.

Planning- Free iTunes image
This is a great feature which I will be adding on to my
front cover because it stands out and persuades the reader to buy the magazine.
Also, my readers will love music so they won’t want to refuse this offer.

Planning- Limited edition puff
I am choosing to add this on to my magazine because I feel it will be a
good feature and will attract my target audience. I feel that it will make my
readers want to buy the magazine more because if they collect magazines, this
will be a limited edition added to their collection.

Research- My target audience
Who is my music magazine’s target audience?
The music genre I have chosen to do for my music magazine is pop music (‘popular music’).Pop music is probably the most well known genre of music, and is listened to all around the world by many different cultures and ages. Many teenage girls love pop music and through looking at other pop magazines (We love pop and top of the pops), this is automatically evident by the conventions used(e.g. the heavy use of the colour pink). Therefore the primary audience for my music magazine will be teenage girls aged 13-17.
